  • The Orthodox cross: The three-bar Orthodox cross is a central feature of most Orthodox monuments, distinguishing them from Catholic and Anglican designs.
  • Dual language inscriptions: Many Orthodox families include inscriptions in both English and the language of their heritage — Greek, Serbian, Russian, Arabic or others.
